About

I didn’t know much about computers when I took my first AP Computer Science class. I fell in love with the idea of coding and was really interested in pursuing it in college, so I did.

At Purdue I dove into CS fundamentals, but after my sophomore year I felt the need to build something real and valuable that people would actually love. That’s when I cofounded Kintec AI with Tyson Magee (DNP, FNP-BC) and Kayden Froebe. We’ve spent over a year delivering quality software to real clinics, growing to 1000+ users and selling enterprise contracts to multiple clinics.

I’ve also worked on enterprise software at IBM, and I’m excited to dive into a full-time SWE / AI SWE role starting January 2027 after I receive my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Journey

Backend Software Engineer Intern

IBM · Austin, TX
May 2026 – Aug 2026

Built automation that ports open-source software packages onto IBM’s Power servers, cutting porting time 70% per package.

  • Designed an autonomous Python pipeline that generates candidate build configurations for ppc64le, compiles them, and diagnoses failures iteratively until the package builds clean.
  • Engineered a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) agent over self-hosted local LLMs on Ollama and vLLM, retrieving from a vector index of packaging docs and prior build configs.
  • Automated validation and pull request submission, opening 30 PRs with 80% merged without manual edits; now in production use by IBM Power build teams.

Founder and Software Engineer

KTAI LLC · Indianapolis, IN
May 2025 – Present

Founded and built Kintec AI, an AI-powered physical therapy and recovery platform serving 1000+ users and signed to recurring contracts with 2 clinics, generating $6k+ revenue and improving patient adherence 30%; maintains a 5.0 App Store rating.

  • Engineered a fault-tolerant LLM pipeline with JSON schema validation, exponential-backoff retries, and model fallbacks, sustaining 95%+ generation success in production.
  • Built the serverless backend on Node.js, Firebase Cloud Functions, and Firestore with role-based access control and subscription billing, shipping 30+ releases to iOS and Android.
  • Engineering a migration to HIPAA-aligned AWS: provisioned a 4-account AWS Organization with service control policies, centralized CloudTrail logging, and GuardDuty to isolate PHI across dev, staging, and prod.
